GAITHERSBURG, MD – An 8-year-old girl has been reported missing and police in Montgomery County suspect her grandmother might have taken her. Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 8-year-old from Gaithersburg. Miriam Garcia was last seen on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at approximately 6:15 p.m., outside of her residence on Marshall St. in Gaithersburg. Miriam is 3-feet, 6-inches tall and weighs approximately 115 pounds.
